This story is for the dreamers out there.
If you’ve ever had a dream, and built up the courage to pursue it, and worked hard to achieve it, you know that it can be a rough road. Many obstacles and challenges come your way. But if your dream is important you keep pushing and pushing.
That’s what this Jersey City physical therapist did.
Her dream was to help people who suffer with pain.
And it wasn’t enough to become a physical therapist, she also wanted to do it through her own clinic. That way she would have the freedom to treat people her way and not just how insurance companies dictate.
She wanted to provide high quality care. The kind of care she would be proud to offer her own grandmother or family.
So she had a dream of going into business for herself.
Business in the U.S. is not easy, for anyone. Over 80% of new business startups fail. So for a young, female, minority to make it…well, it’s a long shot.
She had her work cut out for her.
But she worked hard, compassionately…and smart.
It’s important to her that patients are treated like family.
Her hard work paid off. Her clinic began to thrive as people raved about the quality of her care.
“Sandie has done more for my pain than any other physical therapist I have gone to.“-Sonia Clavell
On August 11, 2018, this Jersey City physical therapist was awarded the “Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award”.
Even though she doesn’t do it for awards, the money, or the notoriety, she states “It’s nice being acknowledged for what you do. But if it wasn’t for my great team, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”
So the moral of this story is,…
It doesn’t matter what age you are, what gender, or the color of your skin, if you work hard, have passion and compassion, you can accomplish just about anything.
We wish you congratulations Sandra Gail Frayna!
You are one great Jersey City physical therapist and we applaud you!
